Three times today, Chase had to be restrained. All I have left are questions.
- Why is my SIX year old unresponsive to SO many successful medications?
- What is the plan after insurance runs out for the hospitalization?
- Am I expected to take home an unstable child?
- Am I wrong for even considering not taking him home? Does that make me a bad mom?
- How can he seem to be getting WORSE in a hospital setting?
- How does a child with a serious mental illness seem to fall through the cracks?
- Will he need to repeat 1st grade?
- Will he ever have a life that can make him happy?
- Why can't I fix him?
